The Photographer:

 

Originally from Northern Illinois, I am now located south of Decatur, Illinois.  I am the mother of a 3 year old, a 4 month old and an 8 week old puppy =).

My love for photography started at a pretty early age. I have loved to take photographs of friends and family ever since I was a little kid.  It has always been about the people in the photographs. I have taken photos for awhile now but my true inspiration as a photographer came when my oldest son was born.  I had taken lots of photography classes and taken lots of photos, even of other babies, but something was awakened in me when I had my own child to hold and love, and to photograph.

My passion for photography has grown and blossomed and I absolutely love it. I specialize in photographing babies and children but am also enjoying photographing seniors, families, couples, and even some events.

I prefer to work on location. Either in your home, at a park, or another location of your choice. I have favorites in the area if you need some ideas and I am always willing to try new places and ideas! I do have a small studio space in my home that is available if needed.
